FridayNightArt painting Southeast Asia
I remember when I was a child, growing up in a small town in the Ozarks. I'd walk everywhere, and had nothing to do. I can still recall those feelings. The world goes on around me and I'm stuck on the riverbank.
This is a 18x24 Ink Fusion. I've added a lot of greens and blues to add the color of the world visible to the child. I've created soft detailing to mimic the dreamlike world of river commerce that the child observes. The color also brings an awesome look to your wall.
Archival inks are applied to a mylar before layered onto a buffed sheet of aluminum. The artist's rendition is then burned at 400º melting the mylar to fuse the inks to the aluminum. A wall hanger is attached to the rear so that the piece can be displayed in the office or home collection quickly.
