The city skyscrapers stand harbor side with mountains behind. The dawn sky is awash in brilliant colors. A blue haze colors the mountains with the smoke of wood fires created by early morning cooking.  

Because of the time zones between the Midwest (US) and the Mexican Riviera, I'm up at 5 a.m. my personal time. As the photographer's golden hour approaches, I'm ready with my iPhone 11 pro max. I brought no other camera with me, fully intending to record the Mexican Riviera with an iPhone.

Pilot Boat Puerto Vallarta is a great image. And because I usually am a late sleeper, I consider this shot to be time-zone lucky for me. Mexico is gorgeous. I especially loved the port of Puerto Vallarta.
