Arlington Across the Potomac - Friday Night Art

The Potomac River flows 405 miles into Chesapeake Bay. George Washington lived in Virginia on the Potomac. It's woody shore is home to the blue heron and the American bald eagle. The view of Arlington from across the river deck of the Kennedy Center for the Arts at sunset is beautiful.

This image capture by Artist Jim Rode ( #fridaynightart #KennedyCenter )  reveals the beauty of the city and river view. The mossy woods between the river and hill add a surreal air.

This 20x24 inch piece is created with an 8-ink process infused to a buffed sheet of aluminum at about 400º. A wall hanger box is mounted to the rear so it floats slightly off the wall when displayed.

Priced at $650 plus shipping. For acquisition click here...
