Passing though the the Oklahoma University Health Center, I encountered cornflowers struggling with the August Season.
At first, they seemed unworthy of the traditional still life, but their struggle with heat, thirst and age made it difficult for me to pass them by.
They are seen here in bold color, richly printed on a stretcher canvas on wood frame.
